Hopper Windows

A hopper window is a single style window that is hinged on the bottom and opens inward from the top. Like casement windows the screens on hopper windows are located on the outside of the window unit. A  Hopper window can be installed above a larger style window but they are typically found in basements and bathrooms. A great feature of a hopper window is that they are able to open completely. This allows air to flow through the entire surface area of the window, unlike slider-style windows, which are only able to open halfway. Hopper windows are stylish, but more importantly, these windows are energy efficient.
